Eligibility and Qualification
Full Time / Part Time Specialists:
MBBS from an institution recognised by NMC / MCI.
PG Diploma or Degree (MD / MS / DNB or equivalent) in the relevant discipline from an NMC / MCI / NBE-recognised institution.
Should be registered with the Medical Council.
PG Degree holders need 3 years' experience after PG, or 5 years' experience after PG Diploma in the concerned specialty.
Age - not exceeding 69 years on the date of advertisement.
Senior Resident (3-Year Senior Residency Scheme):
MBBS plus PG Diploma / Degree in relevant discipline from NMC / MCI / NBE.
Should be registered with the Medical Council.
Age - 45 years as on the date of advertisement, with age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
Candidates who have already served 3 years as SR under the Central Residency Scheme are not eligible.
Medical Officer Ayurveda:
Degree in Ayurveda from a recognised University or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.
Age - not exceeding 68 years on the date of reporting for interview.
Only candidates retired from Central or State Government governed by the Old Pension Scheme are eligible.
Tenure and Working Hours
Full Time Specialist - 1 year or till regular incumbent joins. Duty 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM weekdays and 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM on Saturdays, plus emergency visits.
Part Time Specialist - 1 year or till regular incumbent joins. 16 hours per week and 64 hours per month, minimum 4 days a week.
Senior Resident - Maximum 3 years subject to annual renewal. Duty hours mirror Full Time Specialists.
Ayurveda Medical Officer - 1 year, extendable up to age 70 years or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. Engagement may be terminated on either side with 7 days' notice.
Remuneration
Junior Specialist (Level 11) - Rs 1,31,880 per month plus transport allowance and DA on TA.
Senior Specialist (Level 12) - Rs 1,53,502 per month plus transport allowance and DA on TA.
Part Time Specialist - Rs 60,000 per month for 16 hours per week (maximum 4 hours per day); additional Rs 15,000 if opted for emergency visits; additional Rs 800 for every extra hour beyond 16 hours per week, subject to MS / Dean approval.
Senior Resident - Pay Band 3 Level 11, Rs 67,700 plus DA, HRA, NPA, TA etc. Diploma-only SRs deducted Rs 1,350.
Ayurveda Medical Officer - Pay drawn at retirement minus basic pension; fixed transport allowance at retirement-time rate or Rs 3,600 (whichever is less). No other allowances admissible.

Fill in the form in block letters with photograph and personal particulars.
Tick the box for the post applied - Senior Resident, Part Time Specialist, Full Time Specialist or Ayurveda Medical Officer.
Attach self-attested photocopies of educational, age, registration, experience and reservation certificates.
Arrange a Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque of Rs 10,000 in favour of "ESIC fund A/c No 1" payable at Rudrapur towards security deposit (Specialist / SR candidates).
Report at ESIC Hospital, Near Police Line, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand on the scheduled walk-in date, one hour before interview time.
Submit the filled application along with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies at the venue.
Attend the interview before the Selection Board.
Documents Required at Walk-In Interview
Two recent passport-size photographs.
Proof of Date of Birth (matriculation certificate).
MBBS Mark Sheet and Degree Certificate.
PG Degree / Diploma Mark Sheet and Certificate.
MCI / State Medical Council registration certificate.
Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
Caste / Category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / EWS) in prescribed format.
Experience certificates, if applicable.
NOC from present employer (if currently employed in a Government institution).
Pension Payment Order and Pension Book (for Ayurveda MO retired candidates).
Bench Mark Disability certificate (if applicable).
Important Instructions
Mere submission of application does not confer any right to appear in the interview unless candidates report on the scheduled date and time.
Applications not submitted in the prescribed format will be summarily rejected.
If candidate turnout exceeds 1:10 per post, a screening test of multiple-choice questions may be conducted at the competent authority's discretion.
No TA / DA will be admissible either for the walk-in interview or for joining.
Hostel accommodation, quarters or uniform will not be provided.
Selected candidates must furnish a professional indemnity policy as per ESIC norms - Rs 30 lakhs for surgeons (cardiac, neuro, plastic) and anaesthesiologists, Rs 20 lakhs for general surgeons and gynaecologists, Rs 10 lakhs for physicians, dentists, radiologists, pathologists and pulmonologists. A copy of the insurance and premium receipt must be submitted within 7 days of engagement.
No claim for service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, medical allowance, seniority or promotion will be admissible.
