About the Corrigendum
The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) had issued a Policy for procurement of IT Hardware for ESI Locations on 21 August 2025 covering equipment specifications that Regional Offices, Sub-Regional Offices, hospitals and medical colleges must follow when buying laptops, desktops and All In One PCs. Field offices use the policy when raising indents on the Government e-Marketplace or local purchase committees.
Through this corrigendum, ESIC has revised the technical specifications for All In One PCs at Sl Nos 3, 17, 18 and 19 of the parent policy letter. The revisions tighten the chipset baseline, mandate "Standard" specification language for the keyboard and mouse, and clarify the chassis form factor with integrated power supply. The change has been approved by the competent authority and signed by Shri Nishant Kumar, Joint Director (ICT), ESIC.

Revised All In One PC Specifications
The corrigendum tightens four parameter rows of the All In One PC specification originally circulated on 21 August 2025. The revisions are as follows.
Sl No. | Parameter | Specification in 21 August 2025 Letter | Revised Minimum Specification |
|---|---|---|---|
3 | Chipset | Commercial Class Intel Q870 Chipset / AMD A88X Chipset | Commercial Class Intel Q870 Chipset / AMD X870 Chipset or higher |
17 | Keyboard | Wireless, 104 keys | Standard, Wireless, 104 keys |
18 | Mouse | OEM optical USB scroll Mouse (Wireless) with mouse pad | Standard, OEM optical USB scroll Mouse (Wireless) with mouse pad |
19 | Chassis | All in ONE Form Factor | All in ONE Form Factor with integrated power supply |
All other parameters and clauses in the 21 August 2025 policy letter remain unchanged.
Who Should Apply This Corrigendum
The corrigendum has been circulated to the following authorities, who must apply the revised specifications immediately:
All Zonal Insurance Commissioners and Zonal Medical Commissioners
Additional Commissioners, Regional Directors, Directors (I/C) and Joint Directors (I/C) of all Regional Offices and Sub-Regional Offices
Medical Superintendents of all ESIC Medical Hospitals
D(M) Delhi, D(M) Noida and the Director NTA
Deans of all ESIC Medical Colleges, Dental Colleges and attached Hospitals
The Web Content Manager has been directed to upload the corrigendum on the ESIC Headquarters website. Field offices should treat the revised specifications as the binding baseline for All In One PC purchases until ESIC HQ issues a further amendment.
What Bidders and Vendors Should Note
Vendors who responded to earlier ESIC indents on the GeM portal or through limited tender enquiries based on the 21 August 2025 specification should re-check the four parameters above against their offer. If your earlier quote was for an AMD A88X chipset or a chassis without an integrated power supply, the revised offer must move to AMD X870 (or higher) and an integrated-power-supply chassis to remain compliant.
ESIC field units that have already placed orders before 09 December 2025 should consult their Regional Office Construction/ICT cell on whether the existing order is to be modified or honoured as placed, since the corrigendum does not, on its face, retrospectively re-open already-concluded purchases.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Using the old chipset baseline - any new All In One PC offer must meet Intel Q870 or AMD X870 or higher; the older AMD A88X reference is no longer acceptable.
Ignoring the "Standard" prefix - the revised keyboard and mouse rows explicitly add the word "Standard" to the specification line, which is a contractual quality marker, not an optional descriptor.
Skipping the integrated power supply - the revised chassis row mandates "All in ONE Form Factor with integrated power supply"; external power bricks no longer comply.
Treating the corrigendum as optional - the corrigendum carries the approval of the competent authority and applies to all ESI locations.
Final Words
The ESIC IT Hardware Procurement Policy Corrigendum 2025, issued on 09 December 2025, revises four All In One PC parameters in the 21 August 2025 ESIC HQ procurement policy, with chipset, keyboard, mouse and chassis specifications now tightened. Field units and vendors should download the corrigendum PDF from the ESIC tenders page and align all open and upcoming indents to the revised baseline.
