What Has Changed
Section 03 - Details of EMD Submission
The earlier clause required submission of Earnest Money of Rs 16,00,000 (Sixteen Lakhs Rupees Only) in the form of Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque from a scheduled bank, drawn in favour of "ESI FUND ACCOUNT No.1" payable at Faridabad. The EMD had to be dropped on or before 30 December 2025 at 12.00 Noon in the tender EMD box at the Property Management Division, Ground Floor, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College and Hospital NIT-3, Faridabad. Bids received without EMD would have been summarily rejected.
As per the ESIC Headquarters Comprehensive Policy for Special Repair Works in ESI Establishments, submission of Earnest Money Deposit is now optional. Accordingly, EMD is exempted for this tender. In lieu of EMD, the bidder must submit a Bid Security Declaration as per the Annexure I attached to the corrigendum.

This corrigendum forms an integral part of the tender document and must be read in conjunction with the original NIT.
Bidders are advised to take note of the changes while submitting their bids on the Central Public Procurement (CPP) Portal.
Bid Security Declaration - Annexure I
In place of EMD, every bidder must download Annexure I, fill it in, sign and stamp it, and upload the scanned copy on the CPP Portal. The declaration commits the bidder that:
If the bidder withdraws or modifies the bid during the period of bid validity, OR
If the bidder fails to submit the Performance Security or Performance Bank Guarantee within the stipulated time after issue of the Letter of Award, Administrative Approval or Acceptance Note,
then the bidder shall be liable to be suspended for a period of one (01) year from being eligible to submit bids in any tender invited by ESIC, in accordance with the applicable provisions of GFR and Tender Conditions, without prejudice to any other action that may be taken by ESIC under law.
How to Bid
Log in to the Central Public Procurement (CPP) Portal at eprocure.gov.in using registered DSC credentials.
Locate Tender ID 2025_ESIC_888446_1 issued by ESIC Medical College and Hospital NIT-3, Faridabad.
Download the original NIT and the corrigendum dated 29 December 2025.
Download Annexure I (Bid Security Declaration) from the corrigendum.
Fill in, sign and stamp Annexure I and scan it for upload.
Prepare the technical and financial bids as per the original NIT, with the corrigendum changes applied to dates and EMD.
Upload the scanned Bid Security Declaration along with the qualifying documents and financial bid.
Submit the full bid online on or before 12.00 Noon on 09 January 2026.
Important Instructions
EMD is no longer required - bidders must instead upload the Bid Security Declaration on Annexure I.
Withdrawal or modification of bid during bid validity, or failure to submit Performance Security after award, triggers a 1-year ESIC tender suspension.
All non-EMD terms and conditions of the original NIT remain unchanged.
Submit bids only on the CPP Portal - hard-copy submission is not envisaged in the corrigendum.
The corrigendum must be read in conjunction with the original NIT.
