What is Passport?
An Indian passport is an official travel document issued by the Ministry of External Affairs that certifies your identity and nationality for international travel.
Eligibility
- Indian citizens of any age
- Minors apply with parents' passport details or consent
Documents Required
- Proof of Address (Aadhaar, utility bill, bank passbook)
- Proof of Date of Birth (birth certificate, 10th marksheet, PAN)
- Identity proof and recent photographs
Step-by-Step Process

Register on Passport Seva
Create an account on the Passport Seva Online Portal.

Fill the application
Complete the form for fresh issue or re-issue.

Pay and schedule
Pay the fee and book an appointment at a PSK/POPSK.

Visit the centre
Carry originals for verification at the Passport Seva Kendra.

Police verification
Most applications require police verification before dispatch.
