What Happens Next
The selection is provisional and final appointment depends on verification of educational, academic and experience documents along with eligibility criteria at the time of joining. Any discrepancy, missing document or eligibility shortfall during verification will lead to cancellation of candidature. The 44 day contract begins from the date of joining and may be extended under the Residency Scheme based on vacancy availability, satisfactory work and conduct, or until a regular Senior Resident joins, whichever is earlier.
The maximum tenure for a Senior Resident is 3 years inclusive of previous SR service at any government hospital, institute or organisation. 3½ days of paid leave is admissible for 44 days of service; unauthorised absence beyond 7 days will result in termination.
A fitness certificate from a Resident Medical Practitioner must be produced at the time of joining.
Selected candidates must take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India in the prescribed proforma.
A valid Delhi Dental Council registration, or an applied State Dental Council registration before the interview date, must be produced for verification.
