Eligibility
The CBI Policy Division has listed the following eligibility points for advocates applying to the Special Public Prosecutor panel:
Educational Qualification: LLB.
Bar Council Enrolment: Valid Enrolment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
Experience: Experience at the Bar of handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
Minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate with experience in handling criminal matters.
An unconditional willingness or consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by the Government of India from time to time.

Nature of Job
The selected Special Public Prosecutors will conduct trial of CBI cases pending under trial in the assigned court at Coimbatore, Jabalpur, Lucknow or Ghaziabad, or any other court as assigned by the competent authority. The engagement is for a minimum period of three years and is specifically focused on Lokpal-referred cases that CBI files in the designated trial courts.
Professional Fee Structure (DoPT, 08 April 2024)
Per the DoPT letter F. No. 225/19/2023-AVD-II dated 08 April 2024 enclosed with the advertisement, fees for trial conducted at courts other than Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai (which is the band applicable to Coimbatore, Jabalpur, Lucknow and Ghaziabad under this advertisement) are:

Other entitlements:
Out-of-Headquarters daily fee - Rs 1,000 per day for absence from Headquarters, including departure, intervening holidays and arrival, with departure / arrival day rules applied.
Travel and Hotel - Air economy class or AC-II tier rail or first class by train, plus conveyance up to Rs 338 per day and hotel up to Rs 2,250 per day at Group-A Gazetted Officer rates.
Clerkage - 10% of fees subject to a maximum of Rs 1,800 in a case or batch of cases.
Court fees and miscellaneous expenses - up to Rs 750 obtained in advance from the concerned CBI branch / unit.
