ITI Haryana Scholarship 2026 Apply Online All Schemes
The ITI Department, Haryana runs eight scholarship and financial benefit schemes for trainees enrolled in government and private ITIs across the state. These schemes cover SC, ST, OBC, minority community, differently abled and general category students, as well as dedicated benefits for girl trainees. Eligibility / Beneficiary
All schemes require the trainee to hold a Haryana Domicile Certificate and a valid Aadhaar Card linked to their bank account. Additional scheme-specific requirements are listed under each scheme in the Benefits section below. The general income criterion for most schemes is a family income at or below Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum, except for Scheme 5 (SC students in Government ITIs) which has no income criterion, and Scheme 8 which requires only Matric/8th pass without an income ceiling.
Trades must be SCVT or NCVT units where noted. Candidates belonging to a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) household must produce it for the state-funded schemes.
Benefits
1. Post Matric Scholarship for SC and ST Trainees (Central Scheme)
Central scheme funded 60% by the Centre and 40% by the State. Available to SC/ST trainees in both Government and Private ITIs (ITOT included). Key eligibility conditions:
- SC/ST caste certificate
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum
- Matric Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account
- PPP (for NCVT trade units)
A 10% additional allowance is provided for Divyang (differently abled) students under this scheme. Benefits are disbursed directly by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Haryana, effective 01 April 2018, through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
2. Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Trainees (Central Scheme)
Central scheme funded 60% by Centre and 40% by State. Academic allowance of Rs. 5,000 per annum. Eligibility:
- OBC caste certificate
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum
- Matric Pass certificate
- Aadhaar, Haryana Domicile Certificate, PPP
3. Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Community Trainees (Central Scheme)
100% centrally funded scheme. Benefits include:
- Maintenance allowance: Rs. 230 per month
- Tuition fee reimbursement: up to Rs. 10,000 per year
- 30% of total scholarship seats reserved for girl students
Eligibility:
- Minority community caste certificate
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.0 lakh per annum
- Matric Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account
Benefits are disbursed by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Haryana, effective 01 April 2018, through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
4. Post Matric Scholarship for Differently Abled Trainees (Central Scheme)
100% centrally funded scheme. Benefits include:
- Maintenance allowance: Rs. 550 per month
- Disability allowance: up to Rs. 4,000 per month
- Tuition fee ceiling: Rs. 1.5 lakh per year

- Caste certificate (as applicable)
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum
- Matric Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account
Benefits are disbursed by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Haryana, effective 01 April 2018, through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
5. Scholarship for SC Students in Government ITIs (State Scheme)
State-funded scheme with no income criterion. Benefits include:
- Maintenance allowance: Rs. 200 per month
- Tuition fee reimbursement: Rs. 15 per month
Eligibility:
- SC Caste Certificate
- No income criterion
- 8th or 10th Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account, PPP
- For SCVT/NCVT trade units
Scholarship is disbursed to eligible trainees through the Department ERP Portal.
6. General Scholarship — Merit and Poverty Based (State Scheme)
State-funded scheme providing Rs. 200 per month to 25% of eligible trainees on merit-cum-poverty basis. Reimbursement is processed through the ERP Portal. Eligibility:
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum
- Matric or 8th Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account, PPP
- For SCVT/NCVT trade units
7. Free Tool Kit for Girls in Government ITIs (State Scheme)
A one-time benefit of Rs. 1,000 provided as a free tool kit to girl trainees enrolled in Government ITIs. Eligibility:
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum
- Matric or 8th Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account, PPP
- For SCVT/NCVT trade units
8. Mahila Admission Protsahan Rashi (State Scheme)
A one-time incentive of Rs. 2,500 for girl trainees who have secured admission in Government ITIs. Eligibility:
- Matric or 8th Pass certificate
- Haryana Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Aadhaar-linked bank account, PPP
- For SCVT/NCVT trade units
Reimbursement is processed through the Department ERP Portal.
